Bama's patience can be really compared with that of Mother Earth. Even after all these she tried to findout the reason for his problems with the help of her colleagues who are his best friends. She foundout that a sum of Rupees Two thousand was needed to settle all his dues. In to day's value it'll be a Lakh. Without her mother's knowledge she gave an amount of Rupees 500/- to the friends and requested them to partly settle the dues and rescue him out of the problem. She also requested them not to reveal that the money came from her. The good friends settled the whole amount and advised Parthasarathy not to get into debt trap again. Their advice to get even with his wife and live peacefully fell on a deaf ear. Despite all her efforts the marriage suffered a temporary break in 1968 and he agreed to keep away from the family as the elders advised him not to insist on divorce.

In 1969 Hindi was formally removed from all schools in Tamil Nadu. All Hindi Pandits were redeployed in alternate posts. Bama was posted in another Middle School in Turaiyur where as Parthasarathy was posted in a village about 50 Km away from the town. This facilitated a peaceful seperation for 14 years which ended only on Parthasarathy's retirement .

Bama had already resumed her academic pursuit.The following are the Milestones in her accomplishments.

1960 - Music Higher Grade.

1963 - TTC in Music - Trained Teacher Certificate. This was done to get an alternate job as Music when Hindi got removed from schools.

1969 - Secondary Grade Teacher Certificate . Two year Course was completed in 4 months crash course by staying at Tanjore. Kamala took care of all the 4 kids alone.

1969 - PUC as a private candidate.

1974 - BA History in Madras University at the age of 40 years.

1975 - B.Ed at Mysore University.

1977 - M.A Hindi at Venkateswara University, Tirupati.

Bama used to read upto 2 A.M in the night when she made the above accomplishments. She would hardly sleep for 5 hours. As Kamala took care of the Household  Bama fully devoted her time to Tutions and Studies apart from her School work.

In 1974 Kamala with her savings from Bama's income and with some barrowings bought the house they had been living in for the past 10 years . The benovolent House owner made a big concession for the elderly lady and also collected the money in easy instalments over a period of two years.

Thus the family flourished with the Blessings of Goddess Saraswathy and Goddess Lakshmi.
